Het Team

Oprichter/Principal

The Dr.Reijntjes School for the Deaf in Moratuwa started in 1984 with 8 deaf pupils under the care of Mrs. Tineke de Silva-Nijkamp from the Netherlands. She met her Sri Lankan husband, Susiri de Silva, when he studied there.

Director

In 2019 January Mr. Mudithe De Silva , The Son of Mr. & Mrs. Susiri & Tineke De Silva – Nijkamp took over the Deaf School as the New Director. Mudithe is graduate from Edith Cowan University Australia and holds a MBA from London.

Het team van de School bestaat uit Tineke de Silva-Nijkamp, de oprichter/principal, vanaf 1 januari 2019 is Mudithe de Silva (zoon van Tineke) de Directeur, verder is er een vice principal, 3 senior teachers, 3 teachers, een logopediste, een klasse assistente, 2 matrons, een computer instructor, een landbouw instructor, een danslerares en een accountant.

Voor de extra lessen komen er part time teachers.
