On Nov. 3 our previous speech therapist, Harshani, celebrated her birthday together with our pupils in school. It was a nice morning.
All the schoolchildren in Sri Lanka got an extra free week as the Presidential Election were hold on November 16. Happily everything went on very smoothly and peaceful, so that the pupils could come back in time to sit for the school tests for the final report for this school year.
The holidays start end of November. This year 4 of our deaf pupils sit for the GCE-O-Level exam, that is from 2 till 12 December.
On November 25 we got a Dana Lunch from the family members of the late Mr. Lakshman Perera. He was the Treasurer of our School Trust.
The farewell of Mr. Jayaratne (the Instructor of the NVQ-3 Agriculture Course) was on Nov. 27.
On the last school day we organized the Parent’s Day with dances, speeches and the handing over of the Certificates of the NVQ-3 Agriculture Course.
We also had a prize giving for the best students of the different levels in the school.
